Terms of Service
Last updated October 11, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and TitanTax when you use titantax.dev. By using TitanTax, you agree to them.
What TitanTax is
TitanTax is educational software. It compares the situation you describe with public tax rules and shows strategies that may fit, with example estimates and the rule behind each one.
Not tax, legal or financial advice
TitanTax is not a CPA firm, a law firm or a financial adviser, and using it doesn't create a professional-client relationship. Estimates are examples based on what you enter; they can be wrong or out of date, because tax rules change and every situation is different.
Talk to a qualified tax professional before you act on anything you see here. You're responsible for your own tax decisions and filings.
AI answers
Answers in the AI chat are generated automatically and can be wrong. Check them, and the rules they cite, before relying on them.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 to use TitanTax.
- Give accurate information and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
- Tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account.
Plans, billing and cancellation
- The Starter plan is free.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel anytime. Cancelling stops the next charge, and your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- There are no refunds for partial periods or unused time, except where the law requires one.
- Deleting your account cancels any paid plan right away, with no refund for unused time.
- If prices change, we'll tell you before your next renewal.
- Features marked “Coming soon” aren't available yet and aren't part of what you pay for today.
- Access codes give the plan described when they're issued and can't be exchanged for money.
Using TitanTax fairly
Please don't:
- use TitanTax to break the law;
- try to get into other people's accounts or data;

What you enter and upload stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run TitanTax for you, including through the services listed in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
The TitanTax software, design and text belong to us. You may use TitanTax for your own personal or business tax planning.
Changes and availability
We may add, change or remove features. We work to keep TitanTax running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free.
Ending your use
You can stop using TitanTax at any time, and delete your account yourself in Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Disclaimers
TitanTax is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including taxes, penalties, interest or savings you expected, that come from relying on TitanTax. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it (or 100 Canadian dollars if you paid nothing).
Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we'll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll post a notice on the site. If you keep using TitanTax after a change, the new terms apply.
